The Backyard Outdoor Wedding

popupgazebo

18 of these were used

A pop up gazebo is a great way to provide some relief from the sun if you don’t have a deck canopy or umbrella.  Popping them up right on the base of the deck creates a great looking deck canopy.  Gazebo covers come in many sizes and colors to enhance backyards in many areas.

Now here’s one of the best backyard adventures I’ve ever attended, and one of the best backyard ideas I’ve ever witnessed.

I was very impressed recently when I went to an outdoor wedding that used the 10 x 10 gazebo.  Three were a total of 18 of them that used wicker furniture with a table and chairs under each one.  Table décor included tea lights arranged in a circular pattern around a gold fish as center pieces.  They really created a great ambiance as the dusk fell and looked breathtaking.  There were also string lights draped around each tent roof which provided accent lighting.  There were many different types of flowers adorning the perimeter, with pink and yellow flowers as the main color scheme.

A 10 x 20 canopy tent was used for the wedding party that sat at a huge farmhouse table and worked quite well.

The dance area was in the middle of the tent cluster.   There were garden arches at each end that had small hanging flower pots to enter and exit the dance area, which was enclosed with garden fencing.

The patio was used to serve the alcohol.  Outdoor bar furniture included a table that was set up with some bar height patio furniture in a separate area out of the way.  Some colourful hanging lanterns set it off nicely.

Like most weddings there were a few kids that attended.  They had a cute childrens playhouse, swingset, kids slide, and sandpit to keep them occupied for most of the night until they were too tired to carry on.   A rattan sofa wound up being the bed for the youngest ones.

Hey why rent a banquet hall, when a great way to hold a cheap wedding is right out back!

Security Cameras Can Add Extra Security to Your Home

No one can prevent your home from being robbed although there are many means of possibly protecting it such as installing an outdoor security camera or alarm system. Backyards are particularly susceptible to thieves looking to steal things like lawn mowers or kids bicycles and other easily grabbed items.  Most backyards will need lighting to help with the security.  An outdoor security camera system can enhance the backyard securtiy greatly.  Although a home security camera can not prevent robberies, it can offer you a certain level of security. What is going on in your home and its premises are very well recorded and you will know who had gone in and out of the house by video record meaning that no movement will go unnoticed and unrecorded.

A home security camera assures you of twenty-four hour, seven days a week security. It can either be an outdoor wireless security camera or a wired one, dependant on how much money you wish to spend and whether you want trailing wires everywhere. A wired security camera is less expensive compared to a wireless security camera. These security cameras can be placed anywhere you want; It can be placed where it can be visibly seen by people – discouraging robbers to break in houses or if preferred, it can be hidden away so that you catch the intruder in the act. The recorded scene of an actual robbery is evidence enough to carry out further investigation.

A wired security camera is a camera that has wires from the camera to the monitor and its recording systems. With a wired security camera, there can be no signal interference, unlike a wireless one. You can fully view what has transpired within your home while you are gone. Although having so many wires that runs along the walls can be unsightly. Once this wired security camera is installed, it would be very difficult to move the camera’s location.

Wireless security camera, as the name implies, is a security camera that does not utilize any wires. Having no tangle of wires visible, your wireless security camera would become less noticeable. Wireless security cameras are usually easy to set up and easy to use. They can be transferred to a different location inside or outside of your property depending on your security needs. Because most of these wireless cameras are made of cast metals with sealed lenses protecting them from water, snow and other elements, these are very much compatible for outdoor and indoor use. A wireless security camera can provide security within a range up to a hundred feet. However, wireless cameras must be placed with in 20 to 30 feet away at a computer, for it to fully transmit the recording with no blockage.

A wired security camera is best if wires and costs are not an issue. However, if you don’t like unsightly wires around, a wireless security camera is just for you. Check out different types of CCTV kits to make sure you choose the right protection for both your family and your home.
