A pop up gazebo is a great way to provide some relief from the sun if you don’t have a deck canopy or umbrella. Popping them up right on the base of the deck creates a great looking deck canopy. Gazebo covers come in many sizes and colors to enhance backyards in many areas.
Now here’s one of the best backyard adventures I’ve ever attended, and one of the best backyard ideas I’ve ever witnessed.
I was very impressed recently when I went to an outdoor wedding that used the 10 x 10 gazebo. Three were a total of 18 of them that used wicker furniture with a table and chairs under each one. Table décor included tea lights arranged in a circular pattern around a gold fish as center pieces. They really created a great ambiance as the dusk fell and looked breathtaking. There were also string lights draped around each tent roof which provided accent lighting. There were many different types of flowers adorning the perimeter, with pink and yellow flowers as the main color scheme.
A 10 x 20 canopy tent was used for the wedding party that sat at a huge farmhouse table and worked quite well.
The dance area was in the middle of the tent cluster. There were garden arches at each end that had small hanging flower pots to enter and exit the dance area, which was enclosed with garden fencing.
The patio was used to serve the alcohol. Outdoor bar furniture included a table that was set up with some bar height patio furniture in a separate area out of the way. Some colourful hanging lanterns set it off nicely.
Like most weddings there were a few kids that attended. They had a cute childrens playhouse, swingset, kids slide, and sandpit to keep them occupied for most of the night until they were too tired to carry on. A rattan sofa wound up being the bed for the youngest ones.
Hey why rent a banquet hall, when a great way to hold a cheap wedding is right out back!
